This job opportunity is a Title 32, Excepted Service position for an EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, position description D2225P01, within the 177th Civil Engineer Squadron of the NJNG. This position is to develop, review, coordinate and execute the wing's Emergency Management (EM) program plan in support of DOD, Joint Service, Air Force. MAJCOM, ANG, Numbered Air Force, federal, state and county plans in the area(s) of Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response and Recovery.

Qualifications

General Experience: An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. All series personnel must be certified at the next higher level before being eligible for that level and must have a minimum of one year on-the-job experience in the grade immediately below the next higher level. Specialized Experience: Must have at least 36 months of the following Specialized Experience(s)? Experience that prepares the applicant to perform the duties of the position. Adapt accepted techniques for application to plan for emergency response to potential hazards in highly specialized and technical operations. Interpret and apply regulations and laws or practices. Knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support
