You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST with NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. Duties

You will complete programming build outs in order to submit for resourcing. You will perform or advise on work in the first two phases of budget administrations. You will analyze and formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates. You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.

Qualifications

FOR GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing work in any of the phases or system of budget administration. Work may include development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices. Full understanding of concepts, principles, laws and regulations of budgeting and/or financing. Experience with helping employees resolves issues in work environments that continually change programs objectives. FOR GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with planning, programming, budgeting and Execution (PPBE )process; Formulating budget and coast estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, independently including presenting and defending cost estimates; Performing financial analysis utilizing various financial reports or systems.
