You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will have knowledge of statistical analysis to identify, analyze, and conceptualize Service-Wide Transportation (SWT) problems, develop alternate solutions, and brief higher-level management. You will have Program Analyst skills such as planning, analysis, and program management in order to develop transportation policies, implementation guidelines, and identify customer requirements and budget execution. You will have knowledge and skills in the are of DoD Transportation Management, DoD transportation systems, commercial transportation systems, air and surface transportation to develop customers mode of transportation requirement. You will have extensive knowledge of ADP systems associated with the transportation of DoD and commercial cargo systems to develop and recommend implementation of new requirements with the existing transportation systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Management and Program Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector; performing analytical work associated with annual Service-Wide Transportation (SWT) requirements and financial plans; formulating required financial budgets, conducting research on transportation issues; reviewing and updating draft instructions/directives; and furnishing technical and program management advice. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Analyzing program cost data to prepare metrics; 2) Evaluating (quantitatively and qualitatively) the effectiveness of program execution; 3) Researching program requirements including data gathering and methodologies used; 4) Participating in manpower management, planning and administration, management presentations/briefs and implementation of organizational changes; 5) Recommending methods and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
