You will serve as an Ordnance Equipment Mechanic in the Defensive Ordnance Support Facility (Code 750), Countermeasures Support Branch (Code 752), Weapons Repair Department (Code 700) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will troubleshoot and repair submarine defensive ordnance systems to meet operational specifications.
You will utilize measuring and testing equipment for the repair of ship/submarine ordinance system
You will repair Trident submarines to meet production goals and command mission.
You will interpret drawings, specification, and schematics of complete systems for the function of weapon systems assemblies.
You will work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals to perform test, repairs, or modifications to ordnance equipment.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Posses the ability to independently perform the most difficult and complex tasks as an expert or have been consulted by other employees in difficult situations performing duties including troubleshooting and repairing Submarine Defensive Ordnance Systems to meet operational specifications. Experience performing the full range of tasks on own initiative including interpreting drawings, specifications and schematics of complete Submarine Defensive Ordnance Systems in order to recognize the function and interconnections of components, assemblies and connecting cable harnesses. Experience performing common tasks under general supervision including using measuring and testing equipment for repair.
