We are seeking current students to work full-time or part-time in various locations across the nation during the summer of 2024 NTE 9/30/2024. The summer intern positions are announced under the Pathways Student Internship Program. This Program is designed to provide students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions with opportunities to explore Federal careers during summer months.
Duties

As a summer intern, you will be an integral part of our team, actively participating and assisting in various agency tasks to support our day-to-day operations. With assignments that vary, you will be tasked with researching problem areas within our work program, and your involvement in the development of background information will help us determine alternative approaches to solve problems.

To qualify, you must demonstrate the following:At the GS-3: Completion of one full academic year of post-high school study OR six months of progressively responsible clerical, office or other experience which indicates an ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the clerical position to be filled OR a combination of education and experience. At the GS-4: Completion of two full academic years of post-high-school study OR an associate's degree OR one year of clerical, office or other experience which indicates an ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the clerical position to be filled OR a combination of education and experience.NOTE: One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university program.
Education
Qualifying educational institutions/programs for Pathways include: a high school/GED whose curriculum has been approved by a state or local governing body, or a home-school curriculum; and any accredited technical or vocational school, 2- or 4-year college or university, a graduate or professional school, or a post-secondary home-school curriculum.
A post-secondary certificate program must have been completed at a qualifying educational institution equivalent to at least 1 academic year of full-time study that is part of an accredited college-level, technical, trade, vocational, or business school curriculum.
Note: If you are using foreign education to meet qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education.
