Duties

Operate the full range of gasoline or diesel powered vehicles. Establish deadlines and prioritize workload. Develop performance standards and counsel employees on performance. Identify training needs of employees and make recommendations to provide necessary training. Perform maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Review in-progress and completed work for adequate quantity and quality. Instruct subordinates in new procedures and provide advice when problems arise. Plan weekly and monthly work schedules.

Requirements

• THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).

• This position requires a Class A CDL within 180 days of employment.

Works on concrete floors and in drafty areas. May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acids, etc., resulting in bruises, cuts, burns, and skin irritation. Wearing of hearing protection and other safety equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
