Works under the general supervisor of the Production Supervisor. Provides training & assistance to other food service personnel & within the production area. Performs tasks with several steps of tasks such as: sets up food service counters, steam tables, dining room tables, hot & cold food service stands. Serves food cafeteria style to diners. Set up glasses, silverware, condiments, salads, desserts, bread & cold beverages on serving counter as instructed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• Ability to sustain considerable walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance as needed.

Qualifications

Works under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor. Once trained, incumbent carries out assignments with little supervision. Provides training and assistance to other food service personnel within the production area. Work is reviewed in terms of adherence to instructions, procedures and overall efficiency. Knowledge of all aspects of the food and beverage service operation. Must be able to render decision, administer work schedules and ring out registers. Must be skilled in public relations with customer and employees. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and be able to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to lead and train. Must present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times.

Education

H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
