About the Position: The position functions as the Chief, Production and Analysis Division, in the G3 Operations and Training Directorate Plans, provides staff direction, and manages and directs the application of operations research/system analysis (ORSA) techniques to ensure the analysis supports the tenets of Army recruiting, contract performance and accession achievement.

Duties

Serve as a recruitment subject matter expert to senior analysts, recruitment experts, and military/civilian leaders Execute and control projects that represent an important segment of the Army's recruitment plan Provide significant and innovative recommendations to resolve complex issues Evaluate data resulting from applying mathematical or statistical tools, models, methods and techniques in an operational context

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) managing assigned programs/projects that affects Army recruiting, contract performance and accession achievement; (2) utilizing operations research/systems analysis (ORSA) analytical techniques to recommend changes to an established program; (3) resolving complex issues involving assigned program; (4) developing operational and organizational policies; (5) utilizing personnel management policies to manage work of subordinate employees. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision MakingOrganizational AwarenessProblem SolvingQuality Assurance Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
