You will serve as an EXECUTIVE STAFF SPECIALIST of NAVMEDFORLANT PORTSMOUTH VA.
Duties
You will research, analyzes and evaluates issues that are diverse/complex in nature.
You will utilize automation equipment capabilities and software (to include Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Task Management System) in order to prepare correspondence and reports.
You will operate the installed office automation equipment including, word processors, copiers,
telephones, and personal computers to produce work accurately and efficiently.
You will provide administrative support functions of the organization.
You will provide seamless support to Commander, Naval Medical Forces Atlantic in regard to briefings, meetings, formal visitation arrangements and other events.
You will serve as subject matter expert/focal point for establishing and maintaining command battle-rhythm, staff integration, taskings, staff coordination and dissemination of information for Front Office leadership.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience managing administrative operations and providing guidance to the organization on procedures, processes and requirements involved in correspondence, reports, document control, records, personnel related matters and classified materials.
Experience identifying and proposing solutions to complex problems.
Experience researching, analyzing and evaluating issues that are diverse/complex in nature, to include policy and instruction compliance and discrepancies, and that require input from senior leaders in Deputy Chiefs of Staff (DCOS) positions in regard to Navy Medicine related topics and activities.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
