About the position: This position will be assigned to the Scott AFB Bowling Center. This is a Flexible position, guaranteed 0-40 hours.

Duties

Assists in cleaning, oiling, and polishing the bowling lanes. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned. Assists in making minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations
