This position is located in DHS, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Coast Guard Finance Center, Chesapeake, VA.

The selectee will serve as administrative support to FINCEN by coordinating all the day-to-day administrative support activities. You will be responsible for compiling figures, maintaining records, compiling reports and performing procedural work.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Qualifications
AT THE GS-06 GRADE LEVEL: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 (in the Federal sector). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialize experience includes: performing advance office automation work; public contact work for an organization with subordinate units requiring formal controls; receiving and preparing correspondence and reports and providing advice and assistance on processes and procedures; organize data into graphs, spreadsheets, or other mediums of representation.
At the GS-07 level: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level (in the Federal service).
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work, such as, receiving, logging in and reviewing all incoming correspondence; monitoring and maintaining a calendar, coordinating meetings, and travel; maintaining electronic records; establishing and maintaining office files; preparing correspondence on non-technical administrative matters; and preparing time and attendance records.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
