Position is located in the Production Division, Public Works Department, New London, CT.
Duties
You will coordinate detailed work plans and schedules for the production of assigned workload.
You will analyze current production project methods for safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
You will use Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Visio) to develop reports and present to management.
You will discuss production specifications (e.g., work definition, pricing, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation) with customers.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-08) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Reviewing requests for construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, and replacement of facilities property; 2) Tracking and monitoring work performed by contractors and employees to verify the work is completed on time and with accuracy; 3) Scheduling projects (e.g., construction, maintenance, repair, etc) for efficient and timely execution; and 4) Monitoring all job order numbers and project packages to ensure accuracy and proper funding.
