About the Position: Fort Gregg-Adams, Home of Logistic Warriors, is a US Army installation located near the Tri-Cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell, VA. Fort Gregg-Adams is south of Richmond, the Capital of Virginia. There are a number of important missions accomplished by the activities located here. The missions accomplished at Fort Gregg-Adams include combat and training development and the professional development of military personnel through various training programs.

Duties

Coordinate projects and teams to develop process and procedure improvements for deployment/redeployment. Provide feedback on how to improve military force projections/operations, deployment, and transportation operations. Analyze historical/current operations to develop relevant force projection and deployment information products. Analyze data on various military entities on lessons learned from foreign and/or US operations. Assess Army force projection and deployment planning requirements using military systems and processes. Provide input to higher level for recommendations of doctrine, regulation, and policy to increase Army force projection and deployment readiness. Prepare correspondence related to deployment/redeployment and force projection to inform leaders at all levels and assist in decision making.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

This is a TERM NTE 26 JANUARY 2027 position.
