Duties
As a SUPERVISORY FOREIGN MILITARY SALES ANALYST at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as Chief, Case Writing (CW) A/B and is responsible for supervising and directing Security Assistance/Foreign Military Sales Case development and processing, including the preparation and processing of Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) and related documents for Security Cooperation (SC)/Security Assistance (SA) customers.
Analyzing, collecting, developing, and coordinating assessment criteria, indicators and procedures for timely preparation of LOA documents and providing recommendation on process improvements.
Participates in the development of new policy and procedural guidance governing the management of approved Security Cooperation Programs.
Assigning work-based priorities and requirement of assigned work, while evaluating the overall performance of work against quality standards.
Prepares and delivers data driven presentations to various stakeholders to aide in decision making and process/procedural improvements.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Planning, organizing, and directing the activities to ensure the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) process complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs;
Representing the organization with various stakeholders within the Security Cooperation (SC) community to include briefing and participating in senior level meetings;
Gathering and analyzing data for Security Cooperation /Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases and processes; and Establishing policies and procedures for LOA development and processing requirements.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
