About the Position: Serves as a Property Administrator acting as the Government representative in matters pertaining to the administration of the contractor's management and control of government property. The Army Contracting Command is responsible for acquisition support and contracting. #ACC-DTA.

Duties

Serves as a Property Administrator acting as the Government representative in matters pertaining to the administration of the contractor’s management and control of government property. Responsible for the development and oversight of the property Administration program for all contracts. Monitors contracts to ensure adequate control and Care of government property, property accountability, maintenance, and appropriate utilization of Government property. Ensures the control of property is in accordance with the provisions of FAR, Department of Defense (DOD) Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and other pertinent guidelines. Reviews proposals for the Center in connection with assigned area of property administration and makes appropriate recommendations for approval or disapproval. Responsible for implementing defined materiel management procedures, policies, plans, and programs to effectively clear all program equipment from multiple contractors and subcontractors. Reviews contractor requests for relief of liability for loss of Government property.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing property administration on a variety of contract type(s) (e.g. Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time & Materials); 2) Assisting in performing Property Management System Analyses; 3) Reviewing contractor's Property Management System procedures for compliance with FAR and DFARS requirements; 4) Leads (or assists appointed Loss Property Administrator) with processing Loss of Government Property cases and conducting investigations to determine contractor liability; and 5) Leads (or assists appointed Loss Property Administrator) in handling the disposition of Government Property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
