The primary purpose of this position is to serve as HQ AF Special Operations Command program administrator for AFSOC-wide, AIS, policy, procedures, and configuration management, Special Operations Command Research and Threat Evaluation System, and Theater Battle Management Core System-Unit Level Intelligence (TBMCS-ULI) systems.

Duties
DUTY 1 - Serve as Program Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AFSOC wide Automated Intelligence Systems (AIS) policy and configuration management.
DUTY 2 - Serve as the command SOCRATES program administrator.
DUTY 3 - Serve as the command TBMCS-ULI program administrator.
DUTY 4 - Distribute AIS guidance and service. Provide technical assistance for intelligence, communication and data automation systems supporting the AFSOC Intelligence mission.
DUTY 5 - AIS Account Management. Manages, administers, and maintains fielded AIS accounts and workstations at headquarters, units, and operating locations worldwide.

Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

Specialized Experience:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of a wide range of IT principles and systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, and security methods and principles and a broad knowledge of USAF/SOCOM AIS and the supporting architectures. Individual must also have recent experience working with AFSOC unit-level AIS, as well as experience with MAJCOM/Unified Command planning and programming for intelligence support. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of a wide range of IT principles and systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, and security methods and principles and a broad knowledge of USAF/SOCOM AIS and the supporting architectures. Individual must also have recent experience working with AFSOC unit-level AIS, as well as experience with MAJCOM/Unified Command planning and programming for intelligence support.
2. Knowledge of extensive body of rules, procedures, and operations pertaining to ISR systems analysis and DoD automated information systems regulations and directives as well as a knowledge of and proficiency in the installation and use of intelligence-related applications and system administration of SOF automated intelligence and GI&S systems to include TBMCS-ULI, GALE-Lite, TACLAN, SOCRATES, EIW, PFPS, IMOM, SOCET, ArcGIS, and Microsoft operating systems and office applications.
3. Knowledge of AFSOC's policy and planning formulation process along with its mission and objectives to assist in preparation of IT solutions to unique or specialized requirements as well as a knowledge of other service, AF and SOF component AIS capabilities, organizations, operations and struct ure.
4. Knowledge of network telecommunications, database management and system software including systems documentation, design development, configuration management, data administration, systems integration techniques, and testing methods for projects through development, modification, maintenance, and evaluation of an IT system.
5. Ability to recognize gaps in AIS systems capabilities then devise and implement appropriate solutions.
6. Ability to work with little or no supervision, to use initiative and original thought, and to make decisions relating to responsibilities as well as Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; negotiate issues; and maintain close and effective relationships with co-workers and counterparts at various levels in the Unites States (US) military and intelligence agencies.
7. Ability to safeguard classified and sensitive information. Sound judgment, tact, and integrity are essential
