This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. Positions in the Cyber Excepted Service are positions necessary to carry out and support the mission of the United States Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - JFHQ-DODIN.
Duties
Plans, schedules, and carry out major projects and/or programs concerned with the analysis and evaluation of programs and organizational effectiveness.
Manages all program activities for the assigned DoD-designated program in accordance with DoD 5000 series acquisition directives, CCIDS and Software Acquisition Pathway (SAP).
Maintains an awareness of high echelon policy and guidance and utilizes sound technical judgment in assuring the development or revision of planning and execution in light of policy, guidance, and requirements.
Ensures the team is complying with suspense dates and assists in adjusting priorities to accommodate fluctuations in work load resulting from initiation or phase-out of programs, priority changes, etc.
Assigns projects, monitors progress, and provides advice and direction to resolve complex problems.

- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance required.
- This is a Drug Tested position.
- This position requires a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon entering the position and annually thereafter, in accordance with DoD 5500.07-R, Joint Ethics Regulation (JER).

Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in IT Program Management Support which includes planning, scheduling, and executing major projects or programs, modern IT acquisition/procurement strategy development processes, program reviews, management, and oversight tasks within an IT project management program.

Education
There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GG-14 grade level.
