Duties

The selectee will serve as a Vehicle Fleet Specialist in the Office of Investigations. Typical work assignments include: Establish maintenance schedules and ensure completion of vehicle accident reports. Provide technical advice and assistance to the staff on all matters associated with the management and operation of government owned/leased vehicles. Administer and maintain the Secret Service's Credit Card for gasoline usage: Issue credit cards, monitor and track usage. Maintain statistics on vehicle history and monitor vehicle inventory.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below: You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $95,694.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 level performing the following duties: Performing routine maintenance on the vehicles for an organization or program; Applying Federal, State, or municipal regulations to the oversight of a fleet program; Coordinating procurement of vehicles and/or equipment for a fleet vehicle program; and Analyzing data to inform on the efficiency of a fleet vehicle program. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
