The incumbent will be part of the Program Management Organization (PMO) working with professionals from various disciplines such as information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc.

Duties

The PMO provides program and acquisition management for the FAA infrastructure programs that transform, modernize and sustain the National Airspace System (NAS). The focus of the PMO is engineering, acquisition and second-level engineering software maintenance for the FAA's automation systems. The goal is for the student trainee to become familiar with programs, projects and functions of the organization.

Qualifications

FV-C: To qualify for the FV-C, you must be currently enrolled full time or at least half time in an accredited educational institution (college, university, vocational school, trade school, etc.) and show completion of 1 full academic year of post-high school study. Full or half time enrollment is defined by your educational institution.Degree Requirement: course of study leading to a degree.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.
