The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force. This position is located with the JBLM MWR Sports, Fitness, and Aquatics Program. Duties

Leads a staff of 3-12 employees who perform work up to the NF-0189-03 level. Leads and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. Sets the pace of work to be performed. May train lower graded or new employees. Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials, and facilities. May be required to help plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for a variety of sponsored events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May be required to operate a government vehicle. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Successful completion of a pre-hire physical is required.
• Must be able to work a schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and possible holidays.
