This position will be filled for AIR-740, AIR-750, AIR-760, AIR-770. The incumbent serves as a senior level Program Manager and is responsible for developing and managing various Aircraft Certification Service (AIR) programs and processes. The Program Manager is a recognized subject matter expert in managing programs/processes and provides leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under the minimal direction of a manager or executive.
Duties
The Program Manager acts as a principal specialist and Team Lead in the development of new and innovative approaches, to define and direct challenging programs/activities.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Interviews may be conducted.
- May require completion of supervisory/managerial probationary period.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I or FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience should include: Experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and convey information utilizing a variety of tools. Experience organizing activities leading to accomplishing and implementing program objectives; including tracking and monitoring program activities.
