Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• If the Agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed.

Qualifications

FV-G: To qualify for this position at the FV-G (FG/GS 10-11) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience planning, developing, monitoring, coordinating, and executing actions to manage a variety of administrative programs related to budget tracking and reconciling. Applicants must provide sufficient information within resume work history to show how the specialized experience is met.FV-H: To qualify for this position at the FV-H (FG/GS 12) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG/GS-10-11. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as a comprehensive understanding of the principles and concepts of financial budget program requirements and business processes. Experience includes applying policies and procedures to budget programs, coordinating budget matters, producing and analyzing budget/fiscal reports, and organizational financial management through various processes and systems.This position may be filled at the FV-G or FV-H level. If filled at the FV-G level, this announcement does not constitute a commitment or an obligation on the part of the management to promote the employee selected at some future date. Promotion will depend upon the selectee meeting all training, qualification requirements, and recommendations by the supervisor.

Education

Education substitution for FV-G: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR a combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

There is no positive education requirement for the H band.
