Duties
Assignments include but are not limited to: keying new hires, providing information on and processing benefits, conducting employee benefits briefs for new and departing employees, employee out-processing, gathering facts involving routine HR work in the above specialty areas, initiating suitability adjudications, and processing personnel actions. Reviews HR and organizational documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state and organizational legal and policy requirements. May assist in writing, revising, updating, and preparing personnel procedures and directives, special reports and correspondence.

Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a Human Resources Department, Business Office or equivalent required. High School Diploma or GED required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely over the phone and in person. Ability to analyze and solve problems, use sound judgement, critically and creatively think, organize and plan. Ability to prioritize tasks, escalating issues if needed. Ability to work independently, while functioning as part of a team. Must have the ability to listen and understand information presented, interacting well with others and with a diverse audience. Must have the ability to use considerable discretion, judgement and confidentiality. Must be able to maintain confidentiality within the HR department. This position is designated as Noncritical Sensitive and therefore requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of the security investigation.
