This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Competitive Service Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This is a Supervisory Construction Control Representative GS-0809-13 position with US Army Engineer District, Engineering and Construction Division, Construction Branch located in Little Rock, AR.
Duties
Schedules the work of lower-graded engineers and technicians.
Interpret policies to include regulatory guidance and compliance.
Conduct design review conferences with customers.
Conduct site visits to discuss construction features for a project.
Plan work to be accomplished to include setting priorities, schedules, and work phases.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must have a valid drivers' license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 2 OUT OF THE FOLLOWING 3:
1) Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with the contract documents OR 2) Performing field investigations at construction sites to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications OR 3) Reviewing contract changes proposed by contractor to include negotiate with contractor on terms and prices.
