You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Duties
You will exercise management and oversight over programs that design and conduct analysis, studies, risk analysis and modeling/simulation.
You will provide advice and guidance to Branch and Division management on the feasibility of analytical programs and research strategies designed to achieve
Division and broader objectives.
You will develop logistics strategies and concepts, tracks strategy objectives and progress.
You will lead integration and alignment of strategy investments options into consolidated POM investment recommendations.
You will provide support to Force Design, Naval Logistics Enterprise development, logistics capability development and other Service-related logistics equities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Logistics Management Specialist specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following;
1) Budgeting and financial control, including audit, experience as resource sponsor and requirements manager.
2) Formulating policy issuance and maintenance experience.
3) Performing logistics, distribution processes and policy experience liaising with multiple organizations.
4) Evaluating and resolving complex problems as they relate to design and management of programs.
5) Utilizing knowledge of Transportation, Logistics and Supply Management IT processes and complementary data software.
