Duties
Provides comprehensive non-clinical case management services in support of ensuring clients receive timely, efficient, and effective services in the areas of general behavioral health and Substance Abuse Counseling. Keeps all parties with a ¿need to know¿ informed of progress with respect to the various clinical and psychoeducational services offered by the Substance Abuse Program.

Qualifications
Completion of a four-year degree in behavioral health or social science AND two years of experience that demonstrates acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral health or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Comprehensive knowledge of alcohol/substance abuse prevention, substance abuse treatment programs and its effects on people is preferred. Skill to establish and maintain effective relationships with, and gain confidence and cooperation of supervisor, managers, SACO¿s, supporting agencies and clinicians. Organize and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must be very proficient and have strong skills in the use of computers and with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Will be required to obtain a clearance at the Tier 3 level to satisfy IT Level II designation access and enter information to the Alcohol and Drug Management Information Tracking System (ADMITS), access to ADMITS is required to fulfill the requirements of this position. Appointment and continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of the security investigation. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
