This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Alaska Region, Office of the Regional Director, Deputy Regional Director-Native Services, Branch of Property in Anchorage, Alaska.
NOTE: TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED. ANY RELOCATION EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH REPORTING FOR DUTY WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTED EMPLOYEE.
Duties
* Direct, manage, control, and coordinate Regional and Agency operations for supply management.
* Coordinate real and personal property, acquisitions, disposal, storage, inventory management and space requests.
* Establish target dates for completion, follows up on action and review of data to assure accuracy of annual reports.
* Evaluate the need of office equipment and component parts as well as administrative supplies and space requirements for the Region.
* Plan, establish and prepare schedules for subordinates.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions, GS-2003).
GS-13: 1 year of full-time specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-12 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). This experience must include maintenance of supply program operations and property management accountability, government-owned or leased real and personal property, vehicles, office space, equipment, inventory control, utilization, and disposal activities. Managing, directing, or administering a supply program involving various technical supply functions or administrative work such as analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program.
