You will serve as a LEAD MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the DEPARTMENT OF NAVY, SSP, SWFLANT, WEAPONS DEPARTMENT of SWFLANT KINGS BAY.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
Duties
You will serve as the subject matter expert providing custody and accountability control of all re-entry bodies (RBs), special weapons, Strategic Weapons material, and associated components at SWFLANT.
You will serve as Program Manager for the SWFLANT Accountability Program and is the Accountability Officer for all United States Navy East Coast strategic assets.
You will coordinate and manage workload with military, government civilians and contractors from various organizations to include but not limited to processing requirements and schedule.
You will continuously monitor SWFLANT on-site contractor strategic material management systems to ensure they provide the required levels of RB, special weapons, strategic weapon material, and associated components custody and accountability control.
You will perform a variety of studies, surveys, monitors, inspections, aimed at establishing, improving, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of contractor strategic weapon material management systems.
You will initiate, prepare, submit, maintain various messages, documents, records, and reports required/requested by JCS, DOE, DOD, Navy, etc. policies, directives, regulations, and instructions to demonstrate SWFLANT compliance.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to qualify for inclusion into the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing management, accountability, and program analysis on Department of Navy (DON) weapons systems.
