This position is a Laborer, WG- 3502-4 working in Devils Lake, North Dakota for the R6-Devils Lake Wetland Management District.

Duties

This is a temporary appointment intended for seasonal work that is less than 6 months or 1040 hours from the date of appointment/service year. It is expected this position will be terminated upon completion of the seasons work. The agency may non-competitively rehire an eligible temporary seasonal worker in subsequent years who works less than 6 months or 1040 hours in their service year. At management's discretion, this appointment may be extended up to one-year with the possibility of extending an additional one-year. As a Laborer your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Operate large lawn mowers that have multiple or independently controlled cutting decks and operate on slopes. Perform general and deep cleaning tasks to include stripping and waxing, high dusting, mopping, recycling, trash removal, power washing facilities, and fleet vehicles. Remove and set signs, paint picnic tables and signs, rake and water lawns, weeds, trim trees and shrubbery, pick up litter, and clean fire pits. Repair and replace facility equipment. Carries out special laboring assignment(s) which require knowledge of several steps, phases, or detailed procedures and a practical knowledge of project requirements and objectives (e.g., preparing ground, landscaping, or similar labor endeavors which require the knowledge and ability to complete various steps, phases or procedures to accomplish a complete assignment)

Qualifications
