You will serve as a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST in the Ocean Products Division (Code N91) at (NAVOCEANO)NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

Duties

You will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of procurement actions for supplies and services. You will provide budgetary estimates for recurring purchases. You will support the Division’s property management program through maintenance of records, by conducting periodic inventories, and by disposal of excess property. You will prepare purchase order documents. You will serve as a Purchase Cardholder, with delegated authority to perform credit card transactions within the micro-purchase threshold for goods, services, or construction for the department.

Qualifications

GS-10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, execution and monitoring procurement actions for supplies and services. Using Purchase Card to purchase goods, services or construction. Resolving discrepancies or erroneous transactions to purchase card with vendors. Executing and processing contract task orders and extension on existing contracts and assisting in the development of new contracts. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Using Purchase Card to purchase goods, services, or construction. Assisting with planning, execution and monitoring procurement actions for supplies and services Assisting with the execution and processing of contract task orders and extension on existing contracts and assisting in the development of new contracts. Reviewing transaction to resolve discrepancies or erroneous transactions to purchase card with vendors. Education

Undergraduate Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, is qualifying for GS-5 level positions.

Graduate Education: Major study -- public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled. For some positions in this series graduate education may not provide the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience may be required for such positions. One full academic year of graduate-level education is creditable for GS-7; 2 years or a master's or equivalent graduate degree is creditable for GS-9; and 3 years or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is creditable for GS-11.

Note: Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also qualifying for grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
