Duties

Issues tools and equipment to authorized customers. Checks inventories and supplies. Checks identification, collects fees and when appropriate, completes appropriate documentation. Receives returned items, inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts. Assists in directing patrons and scheduling. Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position.

Qualifications

1. No experience required. Highly Preferred Criteria: 18 years of age or older holding a valid Driver's License. Proof of valid Driver's License will be required prior to entrance on duty to be considered a Highly Preferred Candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection
