You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Materiel Management Operations Group (M2OG) of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will establish and implement short and long-range logistics plans for the M2OG mission.
You will conduct analysis of complex logistics projects, tasks and actions that impact or enhance the M2OG mission.
You will participate in projects and studies related to the quality control programs of logistics functions such as inventory control, receipts, storage and distribution, of principle end items functions.
You will provide policy guidance and direction for the accomplishment of all logistical functions and services in accordance with broad goals and objectives established by the command.
You will direct the development of goals and scop of long-range plans and projects, studies and evaluations for all aspects of storing combat ready capability sets in order to support and sustain the Expeditionary Force in readiness.
You will analyze program effectiveness to identify critical areas and anticipate impact of changes in requirements and resources, to determine courses of action.
You will plan and implement innovative techniques of management and/or technology in order to compete with ever-increasing demands for quantity, quality and complexity of service in the face of diminishing resources.
You are responsible for coordination of overall responsiveness and logistics performance management standards and procedures as they relate to the mission.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You may be required to be recalled to duty.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Establishing and implementing short and long-term logistics plans, directing the development of goals and scope of long-range plans and projects, studies and evaluations related to capabilities and combat readiness, evaluating program effectiveness, requirements and resources, and developing innovative initiatives for the management of diminishing resources.
