Duties

- Plans, develops, and coordinates implementation of the Grand Coulee Power Office (Project) compliance program. -Collaborate with stakeholders to make logical decisions and develop solutions. -Resolves difficult and controversial technical problems for all aspects of the compliance program. -Develops business practices, processes and procedures to comply with compliance standards. -Assigns work, manages workload, and identifies staffing concerns. -Develops and monitors employee performance.

Qualifications

In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the specialized experience requirement - this information must be clearly supported in the resume. To qualify at the GS-13, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-12 level in federal service. Specialized experience at this level is defined as 3 or more of the following: (1) developing program guidance to evaluate the condition of projects for power facilities; (2) interpreting regulations and codes for safety, environmental or fire standards; (3) reading electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings or schematics related to engineering projects such as civil, mechanical, structural, environmental, or geological; and (4) serving as team leader distributing work assignment, approving leave, evaluating employee performance, or ensuring equal opportunity of subordinated employees. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including any selective placement factors if applicable, by 02/21/2024.
