You will serve as a Division Director at Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) in the Material Readiness Department in one of the following locations: Mechanicsburg, PA, Newport, RI, NSWC, Carderock, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Dahlgren, VA, Indian Head, MD, Crane, IN, Panama City, FL, Corona, CA, Port Hueneme, CA, or Keyport, WA.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will be responsible for leadership, management, and planning and execution of material readiness operations, at multiple, geographically dispersed, and regionally organized locations.
You will plan, develop, implement, and manage effective and affordable product support of Operating Materials and Supplies (OM and S) throughout the material lifecycle, from procurement through disposition.
You will ensure total accountability of OM and S by enforcing the execution of sound material management practices.
You will enable product supportability during both procurement and sustainment phases of NAVSEA sponsored systems through receipt, storage, inventory, quality control, issue, distribution and transportation of OM and S material.
You will develop and implement outcome-based product support strategies that optimize system readiness and affordability by planning, resourcing, and executing the highest-level of material management support at best cost.
You will provide senior leadership with technical analysis and recommendations in the areas of procurement, material accounting, management analysis, internal control systems, and material management.
You will administers all policies, regulations, and directives pertaining to material management. Leads teams of subject matter experts responsible for the coordination of all supply chain management functions.
You will generate and analyze metrics and report to ensure proper ERP transactions, and corresponding physical tasks, are executed in a timely manner to ensure accountability is maintained.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading or overseeing the coordination and conducting of logistics management functions for technical projects with product support of Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S).
