As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.The position is within the Strategic Program Branch, AUS-430.
Duties
Serves as Branch Manager directing major programs and organizational component through a staff of highly professional and specialized employees.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes: Experience planning, organizing, executing, and controlling an organization’s resources, strategic plan, and organizational management functions. Experience applying management concepts to solve and address the most complex general business and organizational management initiatives, problems and issues. Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams with a delivery focus in both project and operational environments. Experience managing the development of aviation safety or security related concepts, policies, standards, procedures, and guidance.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
