This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response, Industrial Base Management and Supply Chain (IBMSC), located in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties

The incumbent exercises highly developed communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and leadership skills to provide expert advice and consultation. The incumbent manages an integrated team of contracted and federal resources, providing oversight and guidance. The incumbent manages and evaluates administrative and/or contract aspects or mission-oriented programs.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Specialized Experience: GS-15: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (3) of the (4) duties listed below: Planning and/or providing leadership or direction to projects and/or business operations; Conducting long range planning activities and/or establishing organizational goals; Formulating policy in regard to innovation and/or base expansion; Directing and/or supervising administrative or project team(s).
