This position is located in Office of Administration (ADM), Division of Facilities & Security (DFS), Renovations and Restack Team (RRT).The supervisor is Sundar ShankarThis position is Bargaining Unit with the National Treasury Employees Union, Chapter 208 This position IS not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position IS not subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will perform the full range of Space Coordinator duties.Such duties include but are not limited to:

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:1. Demonstrated broad knowledge of space and property management software and systems, such as Archibus or similar, for occupancy management and space assignments. 2. Demonstrated technical skill for understanding space assignments, the long-term impacts of space assignments, and the importance to space verification and validation. 3. Demonstrated skills to effectively communicate with key stakeholders, ask questions, and probe for information regarding space uses and occupancy. 4. Demonstrated organizational skills to monitor and track employee moves, adds, and changes to space, and proactively resolve potential space related problems before they arise. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: experience that demonstrates thorough knowledge of the principle, theories and techniques in the field of building and facilities management and ability to apply them in practical situations to resolve complex space management problems and evaluate effectiveness.
