Requirements

• Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.

• For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
• Required to comply with all Department of Defense and Army of this certification program requirements. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
• Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
• Position designated as Essential Personnel and subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. Designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG

Qualifications

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experiences and training that demonstrate the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies and procedures. Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months of finance program experiences. Must have the specialized experiences in providing analysis, validation, processing and correction of financial transactions and issues/problems involving the full range of financial management services and accounting functions. Must have the knowledge of inter-related systems and processes across multiple functional areas and their interoperability to ensure the validity and accuracy of all disbursements, collections, and adjustments related to financial records. Experienced and skilled in using Information to perform complicated actions to solve problems associated with processing transactions within the financial system and multiple feeder systems, to include logistics, contracting, travel and pay systems.

Education

Education Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum.
