Duties
What will I do in this position if hired?
As a Supply Management Specialist (Logistics Specialist) in FEMA's Reservist Program, you will serve as the subject matter expert in logistics operations. Typical duties include:
Qualifications
To qualify for the Reservist Supply Management Specialist (Logistics Specialist) position, you must possess and demonstrate work experience in each of the following areas:
Assisting with the management of accountable property to include shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, sorting, distributing, and conducting inventory of large volume and high-value supplies, equipment, or commodities; and
Utilizing records to record, track, analyze and report data on accountable property.
OR
A master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D. if related.
In addition:
Minimum age of eighteen years of age is required.
All candidates must be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
