You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the MCAS YUMA of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.
Duties
You will assist and advise the Property control Manager in preparing budgets and required reports in supports of estate actions for the force analyze the appropriated funds allotted and expended to ensure efficient use.
You will review and analyze procedural instructions contained in applicable manuals, handbooks and other directives issues by OMS, 000, and DON, CMC and other commands.
You will develop and implement projects resulting in the leasing of Government lands and buildings resulting in the generating of lease proceeds/in-kind consideration to include the development of projects to be funded with lease proceeds.
You will draft, review or otherwise ensure the preparation of environmental management responsibilities.
You will administer real estate disposal and acquisition in compliance with Federal property management regulations.
You will be responsible for obtaining space assignments, disposal, and related services from external organizations (e.g., General Services Administration [GSA]).
You will be responsible for analyzing long and short-range organizational needs against available space to identify shortage or excess of property.
You will be responsible of preparing documents for disposal of excess property.

- Temporary promotions may be extended up to 5 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical assistance and oversight for real estate issues to branch personnel and outside entities for accomplishment of more complex real estate actions and property management activities these includes industrial, real property and chemical facilities.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
