You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Facilities Management Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. This position is subject to Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) & Non-Foreign Post Differential (NFPD) currently set at 12.25% and 12.75%, respectively. COLA and NFPD are subject to change without notice.

Duties

You will meet with all supported commands' Point of Contact (POC) on a periodic basis to review work and efforts and requirements. You will screen, classify, and submit requests for minor and specific shop work as well as contracted work. You will perform a wide range of contract surveillance duties in support of the Base operations Contracts (BOSC) to assure compliance with contract requirements. You will provide updates to supported commands and NAVFACMAR management in all issues (i.e. facility condition) and work efforts, including outages, being accomplished for the facilities assigned. You will provide initial diagnosis of problems within assigned facilities or obtain assistance from other parts of NAVFACMAR organization.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing administrative work with operations, maintenance, repair, and modifications of a variety of facilities and equipment.
