Duties
Gathers information to prepare and submit Mission Support Team requests for personnel actions to the Human Capital Division for action.
Prepares candidate interview packages, coordinates with hiring managers to schedule job interviews, prepares onboarding materials to support the entry on duty process, and welcomes new employees to DoD Office of Investigator General.
Formulates the costs of supplies, services, training, travel, and facility-related projects for the Mission Support Team Front Office budget.
Submits procurement requests for goods and services (e.g. supplies and training) needed by the Mission Support Team Front Office staff and then enters the request data into the procurement system.
Processes training requests, registers staff for training as necessary, and coordinates with training vendors to facilitate the delivery of mandatory and elective training.
Serves as the Mission Support Team Front Office Property Accountability Officer for accountable property.
Greets and escorts visitors, maintains office supplies, schedules meetings, manages calendars, maintains office files, and ensures that records and files are maintained, updated, and disposed of according to applicable record retention schedules.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Incumbent is required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment, and is subject to random drug testing for the duration of service with DoD OIG.
- The incumbent must adhere to the DoD Standards of Conduct.
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-05 within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Prepare and submit requests for accurate personnel actions, purchase requests, training requests, and travel requests; Schedule job interviews and prepare candidate interview packages and onboarding materials; Monitor and report training and education requirements; Formulate costs for administrative budget and submit requests for goods and services; Review and edit correspondence, documents, and reports to ensure they are accurate and properly formatted.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience.

Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:
GS-07 One full year of graduate level education or
Superior Academic Achievement may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be used to substitute for the specialized experience requirement.

GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specialized in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
