About the Position: This position serves as principal advisor to the Vicksburg District Commander and Deputy Commander and manages the Equal Employment Opportunity program for the Vicksburg District. This position allows for situational telework. This position is NOT eligible for full-time telework.

Duties

Conduct studies and surveys to evaluate program progress as it relates to Equal Employment issues. Determines acceptability of formal complaints filed with the Equal Employment Office. Develops and/or participate in presentation of formal training for supervisors and managers. Provide guidance and recommendations on potential problems related to the Equal Employment program. Assure effective dissemination of program information by all levels of management and employees.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
