DCSA's DOD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) is seeking a Prevention Assistance & Response (PAR) Coordinator to. provide technical assistance to the installation and tenant Commander(s) in addressing matters concerning PAR. This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience with prevention, security, law enforcement, insider threat, PAR operational issues, and program management. Duties
As a PAR Coordinator you would support the Department of Defense (DOD) PAR program at the installation level in support of the of the DITMAC Chief, PAR. You would conduct operational coordination in support of the PAR program and communicate effectively to DITMAC leadership, installation PAR Managers, Commanders and to PAR coordinators in the field and facilitate the identification and resolution of workplace and violence prevention issues and concerns common to the Military Services and joint commands within their assigned locality. The employee supports the PAR program through the following duties and responsibilities:
Establishes processes and incorporates tools to facilitate the reporting of individuals at greatest risk for potentially violent behavior or other insider risk-related behavior.
Manages the operational activities of the PAR program and facilitates the sharing of information IAW established policies and procedures at the installation level.
Facilitates proactive action to mitigate insider risk and support DOD personnel or DOD-affiliated personnel on the installation.
Support the development of metrics to support DoD return on investment.
Publicizes PAR outreach, awareness, prevention, response, and oversight initiatives and programs.
Ensures cross-functional collaboration, information sharing, analysis and input into the installation commander's or civilian equivalent leader's risk assessments to inform the development of options to mitigate the potential for violent behavior.
Performs a wide range of action officer duties to include preparing sensitive correspondence and responses to outside evaluations, policy coordination, narrative justifications, and undertaking high profile special projects.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes:
