About the Position: The Agency Program Coordinator (GTCC) provides GTCC customer service for civilian and military personnel assigned and attached to USARCENT and Combined Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC)-Forward. Incumbent uses thorough knowledge of the Government travel card guidance/policies and the web-based travel card program to resolve issues and ensure compliance and technical accuracy.
Duties
Provides customer service to cardholders under the STB hierarchy for USARCENT and CFLCC-Forward personnel, to include personnel registered in the Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Relocation Program.
Provides advice, assistance, and pertinent information on all travel matters to travelers.
Processes GTCC applications and cancels credit cards for personnel resigning, retiring or personnel ending time of service.
Screens GTCC usage and transactions, travel reimbursement and vouchers to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Incumbent must complete mandatory annual Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) training.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel of up to 25% may be required. The travel will be in the Continental US (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS) and there may be times where notification will occur less than 24 hours prior to departure.

In order to qualify, you must meet the educational and/or specialized experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience providing advice and guidance on the implementation of a travel charge card program and travel defense program work methods; formalizing local policies and procedures that relate to travel card, and travel defense methods and conduct internal audits of an agency's travel charge card program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
