Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Conduct briefings and prepares comprehensive updates to keep managers and executives advised of plans and progress and to communicate findings and recommendations.
Recommend actions to meet program goals, objectives, and priorities. Determines the organization's degree of success in attaining those goals and identifies factors influencing program accomplishments.
Develop special reports outlining significant trends and patterns in TIGTA programs within Office of Audit that have effects on operations. Researches and prepares position papers, agendas and briefing material for executives.
Conduct long-range strategies for major program elements of TIGTA OA. This involves monitoring existing plans, developing mechanisms to project future program developments and needs, keeping abreast of and conducting research relevant to programs, and developing strategies and plans to accomplish long-range goals.
Perform continuous appraisal of the effectiveness of the management of TIGTA programs. Develops new techniques for evaluating programs.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Gathering information from multiple sources to accomplish assignments; AND
- Preparing and giving presentations; AND
- Communicating, both orally and in writing; AND
- Organizing/prioritizing workload.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
