This position is located at the 136 MAI SQ, Carswell AFB, Fort Worth, TX. Its purpose is to provide overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities within one of three major work functions (Aircraft Generation Division, and the Equipment Maintenance and the Component Repair Branches of the Aircraft Maintenance Division. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: To qualify at the WS-14 grade level your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment experience reflecting at least 36 months experience or training installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting parts, subassemblies and components, and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification. In addition to the journeyman level knowledge, experience demonstrating the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments of lower grade personnel. AND Experience which required the review of work requirements and establishing priorities to meet deadlines. AND Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. AND Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. AND Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations.
