The primary purpose of this position is to provide supply operations support pertaining to specialized or unique supply items.
Duties
Process COCESS over the counter tickets ensuring accuracy of all information to include shop codes, price,
quantity, etc. working with the IWIMS and Civil Engineer Material Acquisition System (CEMAS).
Process specialized equipment requests to support critical mission requirements.
Perform document control work involved in the processing of CEMAS and ECSS transactions.
Provide assistance to customers (both internal and external) and vendors.
Perform administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with team members, related functions and operating officials.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Clerical and Administrative Support positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes a thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to specific assignment. Intensive knowledge of local supply requirements to ensure supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for urgent, critical shortage items. Ability to provide supply operations support pertaining to specialized supplies that are unique to the organization's mission and/or are seldom handled. Ability to conduct extensive and exhaustive searches for information and to reconstruct records for complex supply transactions.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-05 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-06 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of Civil Engineer supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods; and policies and procedures for requisitioning and issuing supplies.
Knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system.
Knowledge of GPC policies and procedures for requisitioning services, equipment and/or supplies.
Ability to read, interpret and apply applicable reference material such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records,
orders, etc. to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems.
Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
