About the Position: This is a military technician position with the 416th Theater Engineer Command Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 980 Engineer Battalion, 420 Engineer Brigade located in Austin, Texas.

Duties
Process administrative actions using automated systems.
Maintain organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Review correspondence for submission to higher echelons.
Preserve stock levels of organizational equipment.
Monitor employee training programs.
Enforce policies established by higher Headquarters.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
- This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
- This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.
- This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete the Unit Pay Administrator Course within 18 months of appointment.
- This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete the Unit Administrator Basic Course within 18 months of appointment.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- The duties of this position may require the incumbent to work evenings, nights, holidays, and/or weekends to include modification in shifts and/or tour of duty.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Monitoring programs for the organization which including pay, personnel,medical readiness, training, or logistics; 2) Process administrative actions using automated systems; and 3) Coordinates various types of meetings and training events.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
