Duties

You will demounts tires either manually or using tire demounter equipment. (i.e. deflating tires, removing locking rings, removing tire from wheel) You will Inspects tubes and makes repairs by using vulcanizing or other repair procedures, repairs, and replaces valve stems as required. You will be required to Jack up vehicles and remove tires and wheels from material handling equipment in the Maintenance command, remove repair, and replace tires and wheels in various areas remote to the Maintenance command.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to perform the work of a TIRE REPAIRER without more than normal Supervision to include task such as demounting, removing, inspecting, and remounting of tires and tubes on quarter ton trucks and up to 30 ton cranes, and repairing valve stems and wheel surfaces.
